Probably the best roasts I have done this far. Kid's Verdict: better than kenny rogers or any roasts IN THE restaurants.

Complemented with mash potatoe and boiled carrots and cauliflower as side dishes.

Best taken with home made sambal belacan. 

Otak otak

Been a while since I made otak otak and i wasnt sure if it world turn out ok. But it did. Today's food combination....

Review: AMPM

Opposite main place mall and Owned by a friend of mine. Decided to give it a try yesterday. Tried their quarter roast chicken and spagetti carbonara. Generous helpings but I have tasted better roasts. Kaemon loved the carbonara, though. Price is ok for the huge portions that they give. 

Pork chop

Today's brined Pork chop...mash potato made by my son, Kaemon..

Crepes

Always sweet and never savory for Kaemon. So it's Nutella and peanut butter with huge dollops of butterscotch and maple syrup. Fillings - opted for bananas and watermelon, that's all I had at that moment. 

Tandoori chicken

My first attempt at this dish was an amaze balls. Looks good, tasted even better. Now I don't have to dish out rm8 just for one. 

Roast pork with apple sauce

We used to rave about Mr Ho's roast pork at one time and a trip to his outlet in Bangsar was a treat everyone looks forward to. But no more. Cos kids find the one cooked right here in my kitchen beats them all. Hurray!!
